This gorgeous wintery shoot on our wedding blog today is ideal inspiration for your Christmas card. The lovebirds look positively beautiful and the scenery is, well, extraordinarily scenic. The holiday theme is executed in the pretty wrapped gifts, the cozy outfits, and spread of berry desserts & hot cocoa. Oh, and that wonderful vintage sleigh!
From the stylist, Blooming House Collective…
An antique, ash-colored sleigh was set before an aged barn in the heart of McKinney, TX. The sleigh was topped with a garland made from Douglas fir, cedar and juniper. Piled within the sleigh were an array of hand-wrapped presents for the couple to exchange, which were made using fine paper, delicate fabric, and an assortment of gold and feathered accents.
For the second scene, a hand-crafted dessert table made from worn barn wood was placed near some scattered unused logs. Atop the table were desserts for the couple to enjoy together including a naked cake with sparkling cranberries, chocolate covered pears, and a holiday must: hot chocolate. The desserts were accompanied by small curated accents which included gold painted pinecones and baby eucalyptus. The shoot itself captures a present-day romance with a touch of outdoorsy, holiday flare.
