This is one of the coolest locations we’ve ever seen for an engagement session! And it just so happens to be in the hometown of these nearly-weds! Their waterfront engagement photos in Philadelphia take place at the city’s famous Water Works and art museum. With the setting sun reflecting off the water behind them, the whole session has a dreamy golden glow (insert heart eyes here). Read on for how the pair hit it off and more of the beautiful photos from Sarah Canning Photography.
Sarah says, This inspiring and sunshine filled engagement session at the Waterworks restaurant and lounge made all of our golden hour dreams come true! Kelly and Matt both lived in the Fairmount Park area, just a few streets away from each other, but never crossed paths. Some time later, their first meeting happened miles away from where they both called home, at the beach. they needed friends to introduce them to each other in order to realize the person for them was right there all along! Since then, the pair has spent many a night strolling through their neighborhood in Philadelphia.
The Waterworks restaurant and art museum was the perfect place to celebrate their engagement! These two were willing to let loose, have fun, and dance a little at sunset. The sunlight wrapped around them as they laughed and cuddled. It was pure magic!
These two will be married this December at the William Penn Inn. They can’t wait to see all of their plans for a classically neutral winter wedding come true!
These two are electric
So beautiful!!
