Southern Plantation Bridal Session

With this Plantation bridal session on our wedding blog today, we’re starting to see why bridal photos are so popular in the South! When you have stunning century old plantations speckling the town, you have endless photo shoot backdrops begging for a feature! This beautiful bride’s session is absolutely flawless, as she and her baby daughter dance around an amazing all white ballroom in their white ball gowns. From head-to-toe, the bride beamed in lace, diamonds, and jeweled turquoise peep-toe shoes. If you’ve never visited Nottoway Plantation in White Castle, LA before, it is a must see. This 3 story historical landmark is one of the most popular places in Louisiana to host a wedding, and there’s no doubt why it’s so spectacular. The house, entirely white on the outside is stunning as you drive up, but what bride’s mostly love about this place is the White Ballroom inside, where everything in the room is painted white (floors, ceiling, crown molding, everything!) and has while luxurious furniture trimmed in gold for a great tie in. When our bride, Jillian chose to take her bridal photos there (a very popular southern tradition) we were thrilled. Her 3 peice Jacquard and lace dress was stunning with it’s very own pockets on the side to add a unique touch! She brought along her adorable 7 month old girl, Paisley all dress in her very own wedding attire to take pictures with her mommy for her to cherish as she grew up. What a litle doll! We loved every one of these photos and wanted to share them with everyone!
