We love everything about these incredible spring engagement photos on our wedding blog today. From the giddiness of the bride and groom to-be to their love story, to the lush bouquet they carry designed by Desert Rose Florals, everything breathes life and beauty into the shoot. Danielle Bacon captured the couple in front of a gorgeous snowy mountainside that makes us want to head for the hills. From the Bride-to-be…
My fiancé’s name is Michael and we have been best friends since middle school. We always ran around in the same group of friends, but went our separate ways as most do when college starts. Unfortunately, during our sophomore years of college, our best friend unexpectedly passed away in a motorcycle accident. Thankfully, I had just transferred back to LA after going to school in Oregon, and Michael was the first person I called. From there, we talked and hung out here and there as friends. About a year later we had that “why aren’t we dating” moment and he drunkenly asked me to be his girlfriend in the parking lot of a bar (real romantic, I know). Since then we’ve had 2 dogs (both who quickly became our obsessions). Getting married is something we’ve talked about forever… I knew it was coming, but never wanted to get my hopes up that it would be when we went to Paso Robles to drink wine all weekend. He took me on a walk in the morning and asked me under an outdoor atrium. It was casual and perfect!
