Carefree and rustic – the two words the bride & groom used to dream up their wedding day encapsulate it perfectly! Their Napa Valley wedding is sweet, elegant, and beautiful and what’s more rustic than a ranch for a venue?!
Anna Marks Photography shares, Christina & Artem’s rustic, handmade wedding was a carefree, fun day spent under the Napa Valley sun. Held at Triple S Ranch, the two college sweethearts got married under a beautiful oak tree surrounded by their closest friends and family. They utilized their talented friends for their entire day – from the maid of honor’s gorgeous floral designs, and a friend’s talented invitation designs, the day was handcrafted to perfectly reflect their creative, fun personalities. Christina was stunning in her Sarah Seven dress and Triple S Ranch was the perfect location for their unique decor and endless fun.
From the bride:
Our vision for the day was rustic, carefree, and fun…. very, very FUN!
The venue was the most breathtaking place we had ever seen. Triple S Ranch is so rustic and chic. We didn’t want to take away from the natural beauty of the venue, so we went with very simple and somewhat rustic decor. Because of the heat, we chose African dessert flowers that can withstand the hot temperatures. We had two different types of proteas and succulents throughout the entire venue, which really matched the natural environment.
What really made the venue special to us was that it slept 30 of our friends and family on site in the little cottages and gorgeous white Victorian home. Our friends and family are extremely close to us. We didn’t want the event to just last a couple of hours, we wanted a fun-filled weekend retreat with the ones we loved.
Our friends really helped us through this entire wedding planning process and played a big part in the day. Our florist was my maid of honor, Ladan Shamskhou, who owns Le Bouquet on Union St. in San Francisco. She knows me so well and flowers really are her forte, so it worked out great! Plus, who doesn’t want an excuse to spend more time with your best friend! Our best man, Cameron Brocksen, designed our wedding invitations and other paper needs. Artem and I had a vision of what we wanted and he made it come to life.
For my bridesmaids, I wanted simple but elegant. All of my girlfriends are so unique from one another that I thought it would be silly for me to pick one dress that has to fit them all. Instead, I really wanted their different personalities to show through their own look, so I had the girls pick out their own dresses. They all looked stunning.
Those petite desserts look so yummy!
The bridesmaids mix and match look amazing!
Love her bouquet!
What a pretty location!
