This rose colored wedding is as dreamy as it sounds. The color palette is perfect, the sunny Southern day is idyllic, and the couple’s love is evident in every photo. Their vows took place under the stunning oak trees, dripping with Spanish Moss, on the property at Governor Thomas Bennett House, which, by the way, is the quintessential Southern estate you picture in your head (you know, the likes of those in Sweet Home Alabama and The Notebook). So, without further ado, page through this beautiful wedding in Charleston, South Carolina – a true story of Southern romance.

Casey and Jamie wanted a traditional Charleston Southern wedding. Jamie envisioned an elegant and formal occasion with neutral soft colors. I truly adored her choice of soft color palette of rose and champagne. Her bridesmaids wore different shades of these colors with her maid of honor wearing a floral pattern to tie the look together. Her flowers were different garden roses in soft colors as well. I was blown away by the reception space, which was designed by Boutique Planning. The Sperry tent poles were wrapped in greenery and the tables were adorned with garden rose centerpieces. Some of the finishing touches I loved were the use of glass table numbers, pillows for the bride and groom’s chairs, and personalized napkin rings. The cake was a show stopper as well!
