Romantic Rustic Engagement Photos

Katie & Jordan met in a country bar so a rustic style engagement session suits them perfectly. However, that speaks little to just how romantic and dreamy the whole thing is. Casual in jeans and sweaters, or country is flannels and boots, the couple stayed true to themselves and themed their shoot in a supremely subtle way. Not only are the bride and groom to-be young and in love, but they’re beautiful! They’re blushing smiles are gracing our wedding blog in magical lighting that the one and only Bryan Miller captured. Two lovebirds, three different outfits, and a natural setting later, and these engagement photos were born. Now, listen to Katie tell of their love story:

Jordan and I met in an unexpected, yet exciting way. It seems as though our paths would’ve never crossed if not for the hands of fate bringing us together, fate in a country bar on Valentine’s Day to be exact. Our initial meeting is a scene often played out in a cheesy Hallmark romantic comedy, as Jordan approached me at the end of the night asking for a phone charger. In his mind, this fulfilled both the need to charge his dying phone, as well as provide an excuse to talk to me. Through a brief exchange of small talk and another series of romantic comedy style events, phone numbers were eventually exchanged. After just a short time, a close friendship was formed, many commonalities were discovered, memories were made, and love was found. Jordan and I couldn’t be happier to have found each other. We have discovered that each of us brings out the best qualities in one another. Jordan and I have many similarities that allow us to enjoy life together, and just enough differences to challenge and encourage each other. Our relationship is a perfect blend of love and laughter and we can’t wait to spend the rest of our lives together.
