We’re going back in time with this 1940s wedding inspiration on our wedding blog today! Beau Tied Events picked the perfect color scheme to accompany the era – deep purple and cherry red make every photo caught on camera by Bonnie & Lauren pop! Event the cocktails match the palette and speakeasy vibe perfectly. Chanel a decades-long love with a classic style like this and you won’t be sorry!
Paula from Beau Tied Events shares, We started with the idea of this 1940’s art deco shoot when hearing of Weather Up (a speakeasy bar) available for hosting wedding receptions. The color palette of bright florals and a vibrant tasteful dress, tied in the features of the 1940’s bone structure of the venue and set the mood for a fun, flirty and romantic scene. It turned out to be more of a summery seasoned cocktail soiree and we loved it! All the vendors and I got up at 5:30am for the lighting to be just right – and regardless of how tired everyone was by noon – we all worked together on the event, hoping to bring the Austin couples a new space for a stunning and funky, 1940’s art deco style cocktail wedding.
The backdrop is amazing!
