In a sea of potted plants and antique garden gates, this cotton candy colored wedding stands out. It makes our hearts flutter with excitement when we see vendors unleash such creativity in one photoshoot! From smoke bombs to #hashtag chair signs, this blue & pink garden wedding inspiration is modern and fun! Oh – and it is beautiful too.
Designer, Shannon Wellington shares, If you’ve seen a wedding at Terrain, you know that their lush gardens, quirky backdrops and twinkly lights are their signatures. This is where the most beautiful and intimate weddings are hosted. While we know and love them, we wanted to bring a new look to Anthropologie’s nursery and garden store. With a few fresh ideas like a doughnut wall, an infused water bar and major #relationship #goals, we’re thinking Terrain may have a few new signatures.
Our color scheme of cotton candy colors: blues, purples and pinks were joined by bright yellows and golds for an unexpected jolt of color, both in the desserts and on the table. An overflowing installation of hanging indigo monkshood, that matched the artwork on the doughnuts, was paired with giant magenta peonies!
The bride wore an intricately beaded frock from BHLDN and a gold dipped veil. Her beau played up the hipster vibes with goldenrod slacks and a chambray shirt. Paired together, this shoot was the epitome of sweet!
This is literally the prettiest thing I’ve ever seen! Swoon!
Absolutely love how these colors go together!
You don’t see this color combo done too often in weddings – but I love how they used it!!
Love those signs!
