In September one of my friends got married in beautiful yellow and black modern elegance wedding in Santa Barbara where her and her fiance went to college. Courtney looked absolutely beautiful in her Jenny Lee Couture dress and it was so special to see her and Rob take their vows and become husband and wife. The color palate was modern and fun while still very elegant. Courtney’s favorite color is yellow so she was set on incorporating it into the wedding, which she did in the gorgeous flowers designed by Lisa Cardella of Ixora Florist Studio. Since Courtney and Rob do a lot of traveling they came up with the idea to have a passport for each guest as an escort card which placed them at different locations they have traveled together. Kari Kholer was responsible for all of the great wedding stationery. The photographs can be attributed to two very talented photographers: Courtney Wilson Photography and Melissa Brandman Photography
