Pink & Turquoise Desert Wedding Inspiration

We’re going to try and convince you this is not a mirage – but we may fail. This beautiful pink and turquoise desert wedding sets the bar for dreamy wedding inspiration. The natural elements that serve as decor, the endless sand that serves as a venue, and everything else, make this wedding exquisite. We’re eyeing all those pretty colored rocks and glittering gold accessories. By combining unique shapes and rugged material with modern lines and hints of gold, this shoot was inspired by the very things that define both love and marriage. We ran the table with heavy chunks of raw turquoise, chrysocolla, and hemimorphite rocks, with subtle hints of desert rose scattered amongst them. Accompanying them were modern elements of gold geometric prisms (handmade by a local florist) that were daintily placed between rough edges! of the desert stones. The clean and sleek lines of the gold prisms reminded me of that unchanging and steadfast love that presents itself in all places to all people. A love that holds strong, and shines bright. These, in addition to delicate gold hexagons that were sprinkled onto each place setting were the perfect compliment to the desert rock.

The table was finished off with soft spring florals and desert air plants that filled the space with a mix of rough textures and elegant blooms. When scouting for a location for this shoot, I immediately fell in love with the endless hills of sand at the Pacific Dunes. I love how everything came together and how all the little details didn’t just convey a “theme” but spoke of a deeper meaning behind a wedding day.
