The bride & groom’s family and friends traveled from near and far to make it to this beautiful orange & pink Palm Springs wedding on our wedding blog today. The couple and their fantastic team of vendors went all out to make the day oh-so special for not only them but their guests as well – showering them with a beautiful dinner, perfume bar, photo booth, and stunning decor to stare at all night! Lovelyfest Event Design helped design the affair as one to remember and we’re sure Euni and Lee and their guests will never forget it (nor will we!).
From Lovelyfest…
Euni and Lee’s intimate wedding took place at the beautifully historic Sand Acre estate in the desert of Palm Springs, California. One of the draws Euni had to this estate was that Marilyn Monroe and Joe DiMaggio were rumored to have frequented it back in the 1950’s. Being in the Movie Colony of Palm Springs, we think Euni paid great homage to the late star as she looked like an absolute movie star in her Galia Lahav wedding gown! This was a destination wedding, and a fitting one, as both the bride and groom and their friends and family flew to Palm Springs from around the world.
We wanted Euni and Lee’s wedding to reflect their personal interests and loves; one of which is traveling together. Our globetrotter theme came about so easily, and with the beautiful Palm Springs vibe and inspiration, fabulous team of vendors, and a super creative bride, we think it came out perfectly!
From the intricate details on the cake, to our personalized geode name place cards, we did not miss a beat on the details of this wedding. Euni is very detail-oriented as well, which is wonderful for us! We love hearing the bride’s ideas and inspirations and having her trust in us executing them just right. After a beautiful and intimate ceremony, we snuck Euni and Lee out to the reception space to see it before their guests, and Euni exclaimed “it’s perfect!”. This really was all we needed to hear.
From the Bride…
We were so grateful to have so many of our friends and family willing to make the trip out to Palm Springs. We really wanted to focus on our guests and ensure that they had a fantastic time, especially as they were making the long journey to share our special day with us. We spoiled them with cocktails, hor d’eourves, a 3 course plated al fresco dinner, perfume bar, cigar bar, open bar, Photo Booth and a silent disco reception just to name a few.
Our wedding day felt and looked like an absolute dream. After 10 months of planning, seeing everything finally come together was so fulfilling. Special thanks to my amazing wedding planners at Lovelyfest who always came through for me. My only advice to a future bride is this. Do not worry about making everyone happy. Enjoy yourself. Enjoy the new chapter that is about to unfold with your new partner. And lastly, go around and give out hugs like candy. We felt so much love on our wedding day. Take us back!!!
