Joseph & Andrea of Connection Photography dreamed up some beautiful inspiration for us on our wedding blog today with this magnificent North Carolina wedding! What makes this shoot so unique is the Church ruins where it took place. The bride’s long sleeved lace gown and the romantic decor brought out even more beauty in the incredible location. Southern style and romance sing in perfect harmony to inspire couples everywhere!
From Joseph & Andrea…
Our inspiration for the shoot came from the look of the Old Sheldon Church Ruins. We came across the cobalt blue and cream vintage plates at an antique store and we thought it really reflected the look and style of the ruins. We wanted to use pastels as well because it is spring. We shot the shoot at sunrise so the sun would come up behind the ruins and allowed for the gorgeous light! We had an amazing designer, Gabby Anderson of Indigo and Company, come up with a design for the stationary which gave the cake designer, Jen of Cakespirations, the idea for the cake!
We also came across Beautiful Idiot Clothing‘s stunning handmade ties and they are local to Charlotte, NC where we are from so we knew we had to use their floral blue and pink tie. It fit perfectly with the style of the shoot. It’s always fun for us to get to style a wedding because we can be as creative as we want and go anywhere we want!
