A romantic affair at Hummingbird Nest Ranch, this navy and orange wedding was influenced by Italian heritage, and a desire for an elegant celebration that showcased the couple’s creativity and love. We think they executed it in stunning fashion. From one photo to the next you will see beautiful design, familial details, and above all, doe-eyed looks exchanged between the bride and groom. Love the color scheme as much as we do? You’ll love this wedding too.
Emily, of Anna Delores Photography, shares: Matt and Celeste met several years ago while both worked for ABC, and once Celeste moved on in her career, the two started dating. Celeste described their vision for the wedding as “old-world elegant with an edge,” referencing classic Italian weddings and Dolce and Gabbana advertising. The bride works in website and app design so is accustomed to creativity, but said that “making creative decisions for my own project can be daunting!”
The bride and groom chose a color palette of burnt orange, seafoam green, and midnight blue. Their dog, Cannoli, took part in the festivities, and Matt’s late mother was ever-present with pink Susan G. Komen breast cancer awareness pins worn by the groom and many of the guests.
The groom shares, My first dates with Celeste were filled with hours of laughs. One of my falling in love moments was watching Celeste navigate the Tokyo streets and subway system despite all sorts of barriers. She took charge and we explored without a care in the world. Planning the proposal was fun — Celeste always wanted to visit the Pacific Northwest, loves to go on road trips, and is up for anything. We snow shoed Mt Rainier in a snow storm until we got to a clear view of the summit and the rest is history. It was also a spot I hiked with my mother in 2005 so it was extra special. August 15 marked over five years together and each day we continue to redefine our love.
