The photographer told us:
With every engagement shoot I always encourage my couples to pick a location they will enjoy, whether it is a new location to them, somewhere meaningful, or just a place that has been on their bucket list to visit! To me, your engagement session is a time to have fun, spend time together and to look back on once you are married!
Kennedy and Justin chose Joshua Tree National Park for their engagement shoot. This was their first visit to the park and they could not believe how beautiful the grounds were. The minute we stepped out into the park they were both in awe of the beauty it had to offer! The large piled up boulders, the seemingly endless views of Joshua Trees and the top-of-the-mountain rolling hill views. If you’ve never been, it is a sight to see!
Little did we know our engagement shoot would be so quiet – it was JUST US! As we explored spot after spot in the park, there weren’t many other people at all! This gave Kennedy and Justin the chance to relax in front of the camera and really just enjoy one another and their shoot. They were so open to climbing the rocks, heading up the hill for the incredible views, embracing the wind and most of all popping champagne for an exciting end to a dreamy desert shoot. If this shoot was any indication of how great their wedding is going to be, I cannot wait for the big day!
