From the sweetest first look to the richest color palette, this merlot and gold wedding will sweep you off your feet. Did we mention it takes place at a castle?! It’s classic, elegant, and uber romantic thanks to that deep red color and lots of glam details. Guests traveled from all over to celebrate Beth and Jon on a beautiful day in Michigan… we’re jealous they got to see all this beauty in person!
From the moment we met Beth and Jon, it was clear these two were meant to be together! Though they both worked at University of Michigan Mott Children’s Hospital, they did not meet right away! After some prompting by friends, Beth and Jon started talking, and eventually had their first date just about three years ago! They were engaged last winter at the beautiful Edsel Ford Estate during it’s holiday winter wonderland. Amid the twinkling lights, Jon proposed with family secretly watching.
Their wedding day was an absolutely glorious Michigan destination wedding. Set in Northern Michigan at Castle Farms near Charlevoix, these two sweethearts celebrated with their dearest friends and family. The color scheme of merlot, blush, and gold was breathtaking and fit perfectly with the regal castle style. Their first look was one of the sweetest we have seen – Jon was overjoyed to see his beautiful bride! The day was filled with so much fun – gallivanting around the gorgeous grounds, extremely heartfelt toasts, and one of the prettiest sparkler exits yet. We had such an incredible time being with Beth and Jon on their stunning day, and are so honored to have captured these memories for them – not to mention, share their names!!
