This is a personalized wedding like you’ve never seen before. The bride and groom went above and beyond to create the most sentimental experience for their guests. Not only is this lush country estate wedding in northern California touching, it is also stunning! The spring like color palette and the touches of country chic pair so well together. We’re obsessed with the ceremony arch and overflowing florals! The reception space draped with string lights creates the most romantic atmosphere. Read on to hear how the bride and groom incorporated unique touches throughout their day.
The coordinator shares,
“After my first chat with Grace and Derek, I was smiling ear to ear. Both of them were so kind, extremely bubbly and radiated an energy that was as bright as the summer sun. When it came to designing their modern, romantic, and garden-inspired wedding at Park Winters, I knew I wanted that feeling to emulate throughout their entire design.
Grace and Derek’s design inspiration was “if Monet were to paint a wedding.” They wanted to look at their wedding reception as if it were a beautiful Monet painting that left you in awe. Dixon Florist brought that vision with their floral artistry!”
The coordinator shares the details,
“We kept most of the design elements simple, clean and modern to let the colors shine. Together, we chose a color palette of warm peaches, bright corals, delicate pinks. We also added touches of sage and dusty blue. This particular color palette was absolutely stunning against the lovely Park Winters as the backdrop.
The groom, Derek, a graphic designer by day, curated each paper item for the wedding. We worked closely with Fig + Olive Designs to match the statement pieces to their paper suite. The one thing I loved about Grace and Derek’s overall design was all the personal touches they included.
Their seating chart was a wall with shelving that displayed tiny jars of honey, an ode to Bumble, which is how they met! On each place setting, the bride & groom had personalized handwritten notes to each of their guests on stationery designed by the groom!
For cocktail hour, they served a Halo-Halo bar. Dinner included a roast lechon, as an ode to Grace’s Filipino culture. My favorite personal touch was the gifts to each bridesmaid and groomsmen’s, which included their favorite shoes to dance in.
This wedding was an absolute dream to plan and be a part of! The design details of this Park Winters wedding are beautiful and inspiring! I hope through looking at these photos you can feel that bright energy that is so true to Grace and Derek!”
