Historical Washington DC Engagement

All of us over here at Inspired by This are completely obsessed with the T.V. show Scandal on ABC so anything Washington D.C. related definitely gets us a little giddy these days!  This super cute engagement session sent to us by Sarah Gormley is set among some of our nations most historical, not to mention beautiful, pieces of architecture that make every image look timeless.  Kate and Matt headed over to the National Mall and picked some of their favorite spots along with their cutest outfits to document this exciting time of their lives.  We always enjoy getting style inspiration from the outfits couples choose for their engagement shoots and we think this couple is right on the money!  We love Kate’s black and white leopard print skirt with the pop of color in her turquoise necklace.  Not to mention that amazing black pea coat that is the perfect silhouette to wear over a dress with some tights in the winter!
