When something titled “Feminine, Fuchsia and Flirty” rolls into your inbox, it takes all of a couple seconds to stop everything and admire it. That’s exactly what happened when this feminine fuchsia wedding inspiration showed up on our doorstep. Boy, is she a beaut! This fabulous team of vendors took the vibrant hue and the romantic essence any wedding should exude and turned it into the ultimate inspiration for the girly bride. If that’s you, and you’re looking for a modern way to do bright pink, take note.
The designer at Party Crush Studio says,
Inspired by beautiful bright pink hues, this styled editorial revolved around organic elements including plant dyed fabrics, dried flowers, and fresh blooms. It’s not often that you meet someone you connect design and vision wise to the “T” as I do with Ashley from Ashley Baumgartner Photography & Calligraphy. Her work is lovely, colorful, bright, and she captures details to perfection. When I approached her with the idea of making an editorial inspired by fuchsia, she was totally up for the challenge. This editorial is really about redefining bright colors and combining modern & romantic traditional elements like Dansk candle holders, modern flatware, silk napkins and elegant flowers. We focused mostly on layering textures such as silks, gauzes, and of course, silk velvet ribbon to emphasize and exaggerate the pops of color.
When designing this shoot, we wanted something that felt trendy yet had elements of romance. It was easy for us to combine different textiles and textures for our design. Park Winters served as the gorgeous backdrop; it was easy to create a beautiful wedding inspiration to embrace our bold and bright color palette there.
My dream came to life with the help of an incredible team. Clearly we all had a huge floral crush on Migon Floral Co. who creates the most gorgeous wedding installations, bouquets, and florals. Her work is flawless. For tablescape, I hand sourced all the items from weekend trips to the flea market; the goblets were from vintage era, the candles are mid century and the modern flatware to even out the dynamic. The gorgeous blooms and lily ponds were the perfect edition to the tablescape. The gorgeous cake by Rose Quartz Cakery was the perfect finale. She makes the most stunning edible sweets. Did you see the dried plant elements on the cookies and the delicious ombre slice of cake? Her work is truly perfection.
Most definitely our favorite part was the gorgeous bride Kachet, with her feminine and flirty makeup by Makeup by Susie and her beautiful gown from La Soie Bridal. Kachet is currently planning her own wedding and we think we gave her a lot of great ideas! We couldn’t have imagined this editorial more stunning and I feel so honored to have worked with such an amazing team who let this gal’s obsession with texture and color dream become a reality. Special thanks to Ashley who brought our vision to life with her eye for detail shots and stunning photography, and did I mention calligraphy.
Fabulous and elegant all at once
