The icy blue linen from Wildflower linen almost reminds me of the blue jacket on the famous rabbit created by an English writer, Beatrix Potter. Paired with a soft blush runner, it brought out the undertones of the table setting. The carefully selected vintage china and silverware from Cherry’s Very Vintage Rentals added just enough of the quintessential English feel. Blue tweedia, delphinium, together with blush garden roses and lovely cosmos lightened up the tablescape and made it so much more inviting. In keeping with the theme, this Sottero and Midgley gown with incredible details was selected for added glam.The design for this styled shoot, captured by the wonderful photographer, Pearl Hsieh, was inspired by the historical architecture of the Elliston Vineyard. We couldn’t help but immediately fall in love with the impressive walls of blue sandstones. It is a hidden gem in the California central valley. For the design of this shoot, we wanted to create a sophisticated English countryside inspired wedding with a little glam to complement the charm of the venue.

La Vie Dolce Design handled the dessert table for this shoot with expertise. Those delicate petite treats on top of a rustic wooden table offered just the combination of countryside elegance we were dreaming of. Not to mention the blue wedding cake. The stationery suite was created carefully by Carole Lola to go with this editorial seamlessly. The grey ink calligraphy written on handmade paper was simple, clean, yet subtly elegant.

Lastly, we wanted to finish this editorial with a statement piece to further present our concept. This “Avery” chair from One True Love Vintage Rentals surrounded by the incredible floral installation by Catnip Flowers was just what we were dreaming of; a rich and sophisticated design full of countryside romance.
