These nearly-weds are gorgeous in and of themselves, but its their enchanting woodsy engagement photos that have us smitten! Danielle Determen got to capture them out of the hustle & bustle of Los Angeles, amidst the beautiful scenery in Angeles National Forest. They hopped around fallen trees and sunlit patches and popped champagne on a mountaintop up and above it all. Be prepared to be inspired by the stunning shoot…
Danielle says, Jessica and Taylor are as beautiful a couple on the inside as they are on the outside. I am so thrilled to be their wedding photographer and can’t wait for their big at the end of this month at Flying Caballos Ranch in San Luis Obispo. This enchanted session on Mount Pinots in the Los Angeles National Forest was the most jaw dropping backdrop for their engagement session — which was fit to match their laid back, classic style.
In the bride’s words, here is how the proposal went down…
“It was late morning on a Saturday and I was putting my make up on to meet up with some friends at a Mac and Cheese food festival! While getting ready, Taylor came in, grabbed me unexpectedly and started slow dancing with me (which we..never do…). First, he asked if this is how we would dance at our wedding one day. Then, he started dipping me and twirling me and as I spun back after the third or so twirl, he was on a knee, ring in hand, asking if I’d marry him. I started crying instantly, said yes and sat on his knee hugging him. Our two pups were there to witness the whole thing, and it was the easiest yes of my life.”
