What’s cooler than cool? Getting married in a classic motorcycle museum! It takes a special kind of couple to pull it off – and Laura & Kyle are just that duo. Their wedding planner, Lonnie, at Curated by Grace + White, calls them lighthearted and fun, so it’s only natural that their big day feel the same. What resulted was a cool modern wedding with unique, edgy, and vintage details. Some of which included the bride’s leather jacket, the groom’s dinosaur tie, copper piping, and vintage motorcycles. Throw in a giant wedding party, a taco bar, and tennis shoes to replace heels for the reception, and you know it was a good time. Thankfully, Greg Peterson Photography was there to capture it all, so we can live out the rad wedding day vicariously.

The words best used to describe Laura and Kyle’s day – fun, lighthearted, modern, and sleek. From the venue, and signature cocktails, to the romantic simplicity of the table-scape – Laura and Kyle’s modern wedding day was full of a unique romance that was one-of-a-kind. The ceremony and reception were held at the Vintage Monkey in Sacramento, which is one of the most unique venues I’ve ever worked in. It’s known for its very eclectic interior and classic motorcycles museum, as well as its avantgarde vibe for the coolest events.
Signature cocktails and a Taco bar from Chando’s Tacos were served on the 30’ round bar – an amazing feature of the space that made the reception feel intimate and unique. Rustic Farm tables and gunmetal grey chairs complimented the vintage motorcycles, while accents of white roses, linen table runners, and blankets of candlelight on the tables made the room feel intimate and soft. Kyle and Laura are one of those couples that make love look and feel so fun… from their sweet personalized vows, to a surprise prank from Laura to Kyle… the evening was full of laughter, happy-tears, and memories that will last a lifetime.
