At a gorgeous Pennsylvania venue, this couple said ‘I Do’ in a romantic and colorful garden wedding. The flowers were bright and beautiful in shades of pink, yellow, and burgundy while the bridesmaids wore soft, dusty blue dresses that tied into the smaller details like linens and stationery. From the Bride…
The flowers were one of the most important details for me. I wanted lots of color and flower variety. Many of the flowers I chose were in season and fit perfectly with a fall themed wedding. I was very happy with how they turned out. A special detail about my wedding: My mother handmade her wedding dress and saved several pieces of lace that she hand appliqued to her dress. I used a piece to make a handkerchief and wrapped it around my bouquet. A perfect “something old” !
My favorite part of my wedding day was the ceremony. It was special to have my maid of honor read scripture and another one of my bridesmaids sing at the ceremony. The best part of all was marrying Charlie, of course! If I were to give a piece of advice, I’d say don’t stress and enjoy the process. When hiring vendors, be clear on what you are looking for – bring a list of questions. It’s important to understand their process and gain alignment if you decide to work together.
