This outdoor classy vintage southern wedding is so tranquil. We are in love with the ‘unplanned’ portraits underneath the beautiful Oak trees surrounding this stunning venue. The way the sun peaks through the Spanish moss gives off such a romantic feel. From the vintage car the bride arrived in, to the navy and gold details, we can’t get enough of this spectacular day!
The photographer shares,
“Kirstin and Kyle’s coastal wedding day in Beaufort, SC would was the epitome of classic and southern. These two are Beaufort locals, so the obvious choice for their wedding was the place they already call home. The locals always know their town’s highlights and Kirstin and Kyle, with the help of Duvall Events, put on an exceptional event in the heart of the Low-country.”
The photographer continues about the day,
“The day only got better and better, with portraits under all the Oak trees and their outdoor ceremony amongst the Spanish moss. Their ceremony spot was not the original plan and they did not have an exact location until a few weeks before their wedding. However, we would certainly argue that it was a perfect plan B, and the prettiest side-of-the-road ceremony site there ever was.
There were handheld itineraries on the chairs for each guest, with details for the day and fun facts about the bride and groom. Kirstin and her dad arrived to the ceremony in a vintage car from Low Country Valet which was a highlight from the whole day!
Kirstin & Kyle’s reception was held at the Lucy Creek Dockhouse, a venue that sits right on the water and provides the perfect view for a good sunset. We didn’t have time for portraits factored into our day, however, right before they were preparing to enter, Laura saw them standing outside on the dock and ran out to snap a few photos. When you see a good photo opportunity, you have to take it!”
