A romantic pastel color palette is incorporated into every last detail of this blue and blush spring wedding inspiration. From the florals to the wedding gown and even the cocktails, the fabulous vendors show off soft hues in a stunning display. Jennifer Fujikawa Photography brings the design by Tangerine Events to life in the beautiful images below offering plenty of inspiration for the spring bride!
The inspiration behind this coastal styled shoot came from our favorite summer beach house. Verandas Beach House was the perfect setting. With the waves on the other side of its walls, and the beachy charm of its trellis and weathered windows, we knew it was just the place. The recurrent theme is “spring,” executed with earthy greens and ivory in the spotlight, with a touch of blue and peach to create a vibrant youthfulness. Yet, it still evokes a romantic and dreamy mood.
The florals were chosen based on the same color palette. We wanted to highlight the pantone color of the year, but also showoff the beautiful blue, blush, and white that are so reminiscent of spring. Bright green Israeli Ruscus mixed in with muted Eucalyptus and other foliage are nested alongside ever-so- dreamy dahlias and light blue delphiniums for the tabletop pieces, and then, mirrored on the cake by Jeseca Creations. The 11 foot floral arch features beautiful greens and hanging, (hand threaded by the florist herself!) white stock.
We first thought to use an olive oil bar as our event coordinator, Christina, was sitting at home with her husband enjoying her favorite evening activity, watching TV while eating Artisan bread dipped in olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Lightbulb! What a unique and tasty way to subtly incorporate some beautiful greens into our shoot! After collaborating with Angela from New Food Tuesdayz, the olive oil bar was born. Introducing flavors such as spicy lavender olive oil, rosemary blood orange olive oil, and passionfruit white balsamic vinegar, the olive oil bar was inspiring! Guests would go home with rosemary infused olive oil jars, complete with personalized name calligraphy by Jarrin from Midnight Scribblings. Even the personalized His and Hers cocktails brought in the recurring use of rosemary and olives!
The food created by New Food Tuesdayz was really our chance to bring in bright and fun colors to balance the earthy greens and muted blues everywhere else in the shoot. The Citrus bars and Grapefruit Beet salad added a cheerful pop of yellow and blush, while the shrimp salad and salmon skewers brought back the bright greens and peach tones. The rosemary reappeared in the delectable rosemary crème brulee.
Lastly, there are some details that just can’t be overlooked! Vintage rings from Trumpet and Horn and handcrafted paper goods by Owl Post Calligraphy only add to the enchantment of this gorgeous shoot. Custom laser cut wooden calligraphy adorns the sweetheart table, accompanied by the unique vintage dishware provided by Dish Wish; we are so in love with the silver touches of the wine goblets and china!! And of course, we can’t forget saying “Yes” to the Alessandra by Jenny Yoo! We are still swooning over the romantic lace and blush gown.
