Sunny days are almost here to stay! Moreover, the spring is the perfect time to recognize the importance of a new season, a new feeling. The images of this wedding editorial as the spring flowers bloom invoke a joy of change. The use of bright blooming florals and a natural setting transform a feeling of lightness. And that DRESS! We dream of an occasion (or wedding editorial) to wear that gown to. As a result, take a step into spring…you won’t regret it.
At last, bloom: a beautiful process of becoming…
Our Spring-inspired Editorial came to be as we celebrate the beauty of rebirth in welcoming a new season but also as an opportunity to celebrate a new beginning within ourselves. This “new beginning” for our couple is a celebration of ten years together, a romantic picnic tucked away in the outskirts of our little beach town of Cape May, New Jersey. Surrounded by lush greens, free-range chickens, and gardens, the ever-so-lovely Beach Plum Farm is no exception to live up to the timeless farming heritage of the Garden State reputation, budding our original editorial inspiration to bloom.
The stunning grounds of Beach Plum Farm, with its extensive gardens and warm golden glow, provided the most romantic backdrop for our editorial.
Moreover,
Our whimsical floral gown by Wendy Makin was the centerpiece of our inspiration to Bloom. Worn by Abigail Kaczorek, this was the original wedding dress she wore ten years ago as she married her forever partner, Charles. Abigail was glowing in her pink champagne dress with an array of blush, pink florals. The beautiful dress was accented with a rose-cut diamond ring from Wexford Jewelry, a jeweler very close to our couple’s hearts. As the spring light touched from her lightly curled hair, Maria from Blushing Bombshell finished off Abigail’s look with a stunning natural; dewy makeup looks to compliment her dress and the special occasion.
Our amazing florist, Samantha Hennesy of Salty Rose Floral, had a vision of emulating the luxury of the quiet greenhouse. She built this vision using touches of dried pampas, Tweedie, and blue delphiniums, the perfect combination of color, texture, and grace. Creating the custom arbor that brought the florals together was her dream. Her overall vision and inspiration came from her mentor, Hope, who fueled her floral masterpiece. She brought our editorial to life with her love of bright colors and unquiet arrangements.
As a result, even the dining radiated as the spring flowers bloom,
Beth, of Everyday Fancy, provided our tablescape for the evening; the perfect arrangements of fresh greens and delicate, gold plated china, silver, and cool blue rummer. Her tablescapes were precisely what this classy, elegant theme called for. Hand in hand with Ali of South Jersey Picnic Co., who designed our magnificent picnic area with comfortable sitting space and gold accent pieces.
She completed this look with rosé for our couple to enjoy. Every detail of this picnic table is every romantic getaway’s dream! Of course, no picnic experience is complete without a luxury charter board. Spreads created the one that completed this table by Kerri. Kerri kept a refined and elegant look with fresh florals, figs, and a gorgeous Brie “Cake.” However, no celebration, or table, is complete without a cake! Our stunning cake, made with rich royal buttercream and pressed with dried florals to match, by “C is for Cake,” was the “sweet” final touch.
Finally,
Last but not least, I cannot forget to mention the paper art created by Victoria! All sculpted by hand, her fantastic calligraphy skills are unmatched. The invasions, name tags, menus, and jean-jacket put the perfect final touch on our tablescapes, picnic tables, and flat lays. It pulled everything together with an undeniable charm.
As we danced along the front of the Flower arbor, Charles and Abigail shared a sweet moment when he surprised her with a pink pearl necklace to match her wedding rings. The moment they shared amplified the beauty of the entire evening and poured an endless amount of love into the photos that were captured. The emotion, the story behind it all; that’s where we found the true beauty of the whole event. To Bloom, where you are planted.
These moments of joy are great to bring into a new season. Take a moment to stop and smell as the spring flowers bloom. Are you looking for even more spring wedding inspiration? Check out these Floral & Scenic Spring Engagement Photos!
