What happens when you mix rustic and elegant together? You create something timeless! This beautiful outdoor wedding at Triunfo Creek Vineyards is a perfect example of how the two go hand in hand, and the results are stunning. Wooden benches, white and green florals, and just a hint of pampas grass made the gorgeous ceremony feel even more intimate, light, and airy. The newlyweds radiated joy on the dance floor, which was set in the middle of the vineyard, surrounded by their closest family and friends, string lights, and oak trees. Will al fresco weddings ever go out of style? I certainly hope not. There’s something so romantic about dining outside and dancing the night away under the stars, especially in a setting as lovely as Triunfo Creek Vineyards in Southern California. Ema and Ray wanted their celebration to feel classic, elegant, and timeless; and I definitely think they hit ALL of those notes and more.
One of my favorite aspects of this wedding was their choice to mix in just a touch of pampas grass in their all white & green floral design. It gave their design a slight contemporary/boho vibe while still remaining clean and classic. Triunfo Creek Vineyard’s farmhouse is literally covered in vines, especially at the time of year they decided to get married (fall). To echo the look of the farmhouse, Florals by Isabelle decorated the tables with greenery that dripped over the ends of the table all the way to ground. Their center pieces were mainly white, with candles and napkins in the same hue as Ema’s bridesmaids’ light pink dresses. This tiny detail just gave the girls and the décor a slight pop of color, and made them stand out against the otherwise white and green setting.
The couple exchanged vows underneath the property’s large Hertitage Oak tree, which is situated right next to a mountain of vineyards. Their ceremony was set with wooden benches, which made the whole setting feel like an intimate, outdoors church setting. They chose a golden arch decorated with pampas grass and white florals to marry under, and more white florals & pampas grass marked the aisle.
Ema wore a gorgeous gown from Pronovias, and Ray matched her with a white Suit coat from Suit Supply. The pair looked absolutely stunning, and nothing could complete their look better than their amazing pup, Pepper. Before the couple said their vows, they met for the sweetest first look on the side of the farmhouse.
For their reception, Ray surprised Ema and their guests with an elaborate choreographed dance with his groomsmen! After that, the couple danced the night away with their family and friends amongst the trees draped in lights.
~ A sweet ending to the perfect day ~
