“Bailie had always dreamed of a timeless wedding in her hometown of Augusta, Georgia. Augusta holds sentiment, as her Grandfather still resides there and is also a member of Augusta Country Club – where they chose to have the wedding. She wanted a true, Southern wedding with beautiful florals, custom details, and a focus on the guest experience!”
The planner continues,
“It was a warm 83 degrees on their wedding day which was perfect for their outdoor evening ceremony. Bailie wore a gown by Anne Barge from Hayden Olivia Bridal, and Bridesmaids were in a larkspur dress by Dessy. Following the 6:00 pm ceremony, guests walked over to the terrace for passed hors d’oeuvres and champagne. Cocktail hour included an Old Fashioned Bar as a nod to the Groom. Bailie’s specialty cocktail was The Azalea – a classic ‘Masters’ themed cocktail with lemon juice, pineapple juice, vodka and grenadine.
Following cocktail hour, guests were invited to the ballroom filled with beautiful flowers by Fern Studio and music provided by The Punch Band. The flowers were of a refined garden style with a palette of white, ivory, cream, nudes, blush tones. In addition, they added a tinge of creamy peach and pale blues which paired beautifully. Florals were arranged as though they had been picked from the garden. The seasonal blooms included : garden roses, sweet peas, ranunculus, campanulas, spirea, delphinium, nerine, tuberose, jasmine, tulips, lilac, allium, foxglove, snapdragons, and stock.
Guests danced the night away until departure where they lined up outside with ribbon wands to send the couple off in a 1960’s Bentley!”
