“Casa dos Penedos, located in Sintra, Portugal, is a picturesque and unique venue for couples looking to tie the knot abroad. The venue is a 19th-century pink palace located in the heart of Sintra. It is surrounded by lush greenery, and with stunning views of the countryside. The palace’s opulent architecture, charming gardens, and rich history make it a perfect destination for a romantic wedding weekend.”
The photographer shares about the details,
“The ceremony took place in the lower gardens of the palace featuring a grounded colorful floral arch by Siloh Floristry. The arch perfectly complimented the natural landscape and cascading greens that grow along the palace facade. The reception moved into the glass atrium. The center point is a long tablescape with details of bright tropical florals and decorative peacock candle sticks. The stunning 4-tier cake, crafted by Edelweiss Wedding Cakes, and featured handcrafted sugar flowers and intricate geometric fondant work.
Alannah, wore a gorgeous embroidered floral gown by Marchesa, while Victor, wore a custom Bucco Couture suit. After the ceremony, the couple proceeded to the surrounding tropical forest for a celebratory toast, amidst the exotic foliage that surrounds the palace.
To end the day, the couple enjoyed a beautiful moment together on the terrace to enjoy views of the rolling hills and palaces that cover Sintra. Truly, one of the most magical places in the world! Portugal’s natural beauty makes it a top destination for couples considering getting married abroad.”
