From the photographer,
The Iron Manor is a quaint, industrial, Victorian-style building at the heart of Houston. Nestled amid towering trees, the Iron Manor gets its name from the rugged ironwork on its exterior. The vintage elements of the building provide a captivating contrast to the lush green background creating a stunning view for photography.
The décor and design incorporated pastels with ivory and gold accents. The florals by Camellia Farm Flora were simply sensational, with beautiful roses and peonies throughout, including in the bouquet. The tall floral pillars provided quite the enchanting backdrop.
The couple we worked with for the shoot was a real-life couple, which made my job of photographing them much more fun. Dressed in a starry off-shoulder gown from Weddings By Debbi, the bride looked ethereal. The groom was dressed in a black tuxedo with an ivory rose boutonniere, which carried the ivory-colored accents from the overall design.
Everything was magical — thanks to the couple’s love for each other and a mystical interplay of light and space. The decor added to the splendor of the pictures. From the wedding invites with a pastel flower design to the towering cake with gold accents to the classic car adorned with ivory roses. The Iron Manor’s vintage yet modern feel with lots of white space served as an elegant blank canvas to design the wedding of your dreams.
