Whether you’re prepared or not, Valentine’s Day is coming up! Instead of giving gifts this year (or in addition to gifts :)), surprise your Valentine with a quick and easy get away to some of our favorite spots across the US.
California
Napa Valley:
If there’s anywhere you should be going for Valentine’s Day this year it’s Napa. It’s no coincidence that wine rhymes with Valentine! Make your way around to the different wineries for tastings and enjoy a nice sunset overlooking the vineyards. We love the Carneros Inn and their cute private cottages!
Glamping in Big Sur:
Just 6 hours up the coast of California from LA, find you and your Valentine tucked away surrounded by nature and an incredible view of the coast. Go “glamping” in one of these incredible Yurts and spend some quality time together!
Palm Springs:
One of our favorite spots in Palm Springs is the romantic villa Korakia Pensione. It’s nestled in downtown and has everything you need for a weekend getaway. Plus, it’s located near anything you could need- especially great restaurants and amazing shopping.
Yosemite Valley:
If “glamping” is too glam for you, try heading a little more north to the beautiful Yosemite Valley. Filled with breathtaking views and (what seem like) never ending hikes, you’ll be sure to have the most romantic weekend with your Valentine. Try camping at Campground 4 where it is first-come, first-served!
The Rockies
Aspen, Colorado:
If you’re wanting to enjoy the real winter weather, head to Aspen! We love the romantic atmosphere of The Little Nell. You can even book a suite with your own personal jacuzzi- yes, please!
Montana:
Voted as one of the best places to stay in Montana, Triple Creek Ranch will take you on a romantic ride. Go skiing, horseback riding, or just play in the snow! You and your Valentine will never be bored here!
New England
Deer Mountain:
Speaking of snow, the Deer Mountain Inn is an idyllic getaway for New Yorkers looking for a stunning snowscape outside the city. Their rooms and cottages are the coziest of sorts and put this Inn at the top of our must-visit list.
Boston, Massachusetts:
