The resort isn’t lacking in anything! With an unbeatable location at Bávaro Beach, it’s incredibly accessible with everything centrally located. We were happy to hear that you don’t need golf cart rides to get from your room to dinner. Another great perk of this resort? There is TRULY no shortage of chairs, cabanas, and lounges by the pools or the ocean. One of the biggest stresses of staying at a beach resort is having to set your alarm to wake at the crack of dawn to be able to find a spot to claim as your own by the pool. However, the Paradisus has plenty of options to choose from, so you can go ahead and hit snooze before heading down with all of your beach essentials!
There are activities and entertainment every day and night with tons of offerings for every interest. During the first two days of our stay, a few of the options included beach volleyball, a painting class, HIIT by the pool, a mixology class, circus performances, and live musicians – and that’s not even a complete list! Of course, one of the best ways to pass the time while you’re here is the breathtaking YHI spa. When you step into the spa lobby, tucked behind the main pool, it’s like stepping into a calm, quiet eden. You can’t go wrong with any service, but getting a massage is like another worldly experience, here! If we had to pick one must-visit spot, make it Flora. Flora offers zero kilometer modern Dominican cuisine, and every single menu item is worth ordering. You truly can’t go wrong with any of their options!
There are also several bars available on-site serving up delicious cocktails and mocktails! One spot you’ll definitely want to check out is Ginger. Ginger has a prime location right inside the beautiful lobby and serves both amazing cocktails and specialty coffee drinks. Side note – did you know the Dominican is known for its incredible coffee?! Get the best of both worlds with an espresso martini after dinner while you lounge and enjoy the live entertainment every evening!
