Get ready… things are about to get wild on our baby blog today! This neon baby shower was inspired by none other than the mama to-be, or should we say, “Party Animal”?! As her friends describe her, Lisa is bright, fun, and sassy – so naturally, so is her shower! The wild animal baby shower features favorite foods like tacos and milkshakes, a onesie decorating station, a neon sign that reads “Stay Wild”, and much much more. With Palomas to be poured and the perfect photo backdrop, there was plenty of fun to be had by all. We think you will enjoy it just as much as party-goers did!

Knowing Lisa’s (the mama!) love of tacos, black, white and bright colors – we knew exactly how to best celebrate baby Charlie – who will certainly be a taco-loving PARTY ANIMAL. We wanted a mix of fun, bright colors accented with black and white in a modern, playful way – giving you the same feeling when you are with Lisa – a bright, fun, and sassy friend! Emily of Emily Baird Design created the most fun neon pink animal inspired invitation, encouraging guests to bring along an animal book for Charlie’s nursery and to wear black and white [Lisa’s closet staples!]. Guests were greeted with a Paloma cocktail [virgin for the mama to be!], passed bites, and a taco cart [huge hit].
Buttercream Bakeshop created their signature cakesicles [neon, of course] and a party animal cake, the same flavor from Lisa & her husband’s wedding two years prior [which Buttercream Bakeshop also created] – chocolate peanut butter. The focal point of the shower was the amazing, neon lit “Stay Wild” photo wall by the talented Brightly Ever After. The animal cut outs from the invitation adorned the wall to serve as a photo backdrop – the laser cut animals now adorn Charlie’s nursery walls! To end the shower on a sweet note, RSVP Catering whipped up animal cracker milkshakes [shake, shake shake stickers] and we sent the guests home with a childhood favor – homemade dunkaroos.
