Mama and Me Maternity Photos

This beautiful mama donned an all lace gown for a semi-boudoir, super beautiful, maternity session with her little nuggets! We’re sharing some of the stunning images Kent Avenue Photography captured from her Rhode Island “Mama and Me” shoot on our baby blog today. From the floral crowns to the clean, white backdrop, the styling was impeccable.

Such a treat to capture local RI mamas with their little ones! I had heard such phenomenal things about The Dean Hotel in downtown Providence. Easy elegance paired with modernist design. Eager to embrace this boutique hotel that supports the arts, I decided to hold ‘Mama and Me’ sessions with several local mothers and their little ones. That incredible love between a mother and child is such a powerful capture ~ there is nothing quite like it.

What a day!! The renowned Bre Welch with Leather & Lace Artistry joined us that day to style (hair & makeup) all the beautiful mothers. The simplistic, whitewashed setting at The Dean was the perfect backdrop for these beautiful women and the stunning florals from Laura Thomson Design. A selection of lace dresses were on loan from several LA Designers. A little whimsy, a little magic and a whole lotta love!!

I was thrilled that my mom, a former pre-school teacher, agreed to join me! Her incredible attention to detail and effortless way with the little ones was so incredibly helpful in making the day such a success! Mothers make everything better ~ I can attest to this first hand. 😉
