Nothing says summer like a pastel ice cream party for the kiddos. Tara at One Stylish Party knocked it out of the park with this one! She pleased the parents with fun vintage-esque ice cream decor thanks to La Petite Fête (complete with the cutest cart) and the kids with a stellar display of dessert. We’re talking plenty of ice cream flavors, sprinkle rimmed shots of strawberry milk, and cupcakes with a cherry on top! Anyone else want to get in on the fun? The team says, What do you get when you are tapped to create a fun summer party for a group of cousins (and best friends)? An ice cream party of course! One Stylish Party and La Petite Fête worked together to style this pastel ice cream party complete with a working ice cream cart, the cutest party supplies and a whole lot of sweet treats and sprinkles! Inspired by the pastel hues of mint, strawberry and vanilla ice cream, La Petite Fête curated a modern party box with all of the supplies you need to throw your own ice cream party.
We transformed the industrial ice cream cart with supplies from box, including the custom DIY Balloon Garland by One Stylish Party, honeycomb ice cream cones and pastel striped ice cream cups for serving. We also added a yellow and white striped umbrella and homemade ice cream sign to the front of the cart. The sundae bar included all of the fixings to make your own sundae. The cart also featured buttercream ice cream cupcakes and homemade ice cream cookie sandwiches.
We set the kids table with mint and yellow striped plates, napkins and cups, accented with mint dipped wooden cutlery, custom party confetti. Finally, we placed fresh peonies in vintage ice cream vases. And last but not least, we set ice cream cone sugar cookies and cupcakes at each place setting.
The ice cream cart was a big hit at the party! The kids took turns scooping each other ice cream and making their own sundaes. And in the spirit of the summer season, the party ended with everyone running through the sprinklers!
