When designer, Mollie Openshaw of DesignLovesDetail.com, discovered she was having a baby girl, she set to work creating a unique & feminine and a pink and peach girls’ nursery. With a color palette of grey, butter yellow, white, peach, coral & mint she established a subtle, soft nursery with pops of fresh color. Mollie was inspired by some of her favorite things– nature & hot air balloons. One of her favorite pieces in the room is the faux bois rug, which anchors the room & offers whimsical flair. By combining modern & vintage elements she gave the completed nursery an eclectic edge. And as a special tribute to her new little bundle of joy, Mollie designed the art pieces in the room to inspire her baby to dream big and seek out adventure in life. Both mama & baby love the dreamy finished space!

OMG!! This is so gorgeous. I love how soft & sweet the colors are.
Any chance you could share the paint colors that were used on walls and pieces? Sure would be amazing!
Hi Jocelyn! Sorry just saw your question. The soft buttery yellow shade is Biltmore Buff by Sherwin Williams & the Grey is called Salsify (I think it’s by Kwal). Here’s a link with more info on this nursery space: http://www.designlovesdetail.com/2013/03/22/dld-cribs-sugar-spice/ Hope that helps!
just replied in a separate comment 🙂
Hi There- I love this room! I’m looking for a sweet mirror that is also light to go above our crib. Where did you find this one?
Hey! What shade did you use on the dresser? Love the nursery! 🙂
Really nice colours!
