Family photos can be so stressful. It starts with booking the perfect photographer, then coordinating the outfits, choosing the location and let’s not even mention the weather cooperating on the day of. All that to say, somehow photographers manage to capture the most meaningful images that families will treasure for the rest of their lives. This sunset family photo shoot in the Rocky Mountains is both captivating and whimsical. The neutral color palette and the scenic views pair so well together, that you may just want to consider the mountains for your next photo session.
The photographer shares,
“This beautiful family wanted their annual portraits captured up in the mountains of Colorado. Katy, the mom, worked for months to pull together their cream colored outfits. Between lots of sunshine and smiles, their sunset family photo shoot session was a beautiful evening to capture, just outside of Denver, Colorado.”
About the photographer,
“I am a Colorado native, raised in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, near Denver. My longtime love for capturing portraits and landscapes is married perfectly in my family and wedding photography business. I serve families and couples in the Denver area and beyond. The art of my work stems from the love to capture the connection and joy that is shared between people. When that can also be captured in Colorado’s beautiful landscape, my photographer heart is in heaven!
The types of photos I love to capture tell the story of a family’s season of life. From those little details of snuggles, stolen kisses, and playful moments that show off the connection and joy we each share. Every session is about having fun together and creating a memorable experience you’ll love to look back on.
My favorite thing to hear from clients is that their gallery brings them to happy tears. My favorite locations are the ones I know we can get the most beautiful sunset light. Being that the mountains are west of Denver, it makes it all the easier to find gorgeous spots that show off the mountains and the setting sun!
I count it such a privilege to be a part of bottling up that joy for each of life’s seasons, so people can enjoy it again and again. I love that my photography can be a celebration of just that!”
