This intimate 40th birthday party took place in a greenhouse, and we love how the decor pulled from the venue for inspiration. Chic black details complemented jungle-tones of green, and a mix of patterns combined with acrylic details added a modern touch to each place setting. Captured to perfection by the amazing Brandon Kidd Photography, this modern greenhouse birthday party is the 40th birthday every man dreams about!
The planner, Natalie at A Good Affair, shares:
My husband Jason’s 40th birthday was something I really wanted to celebrate, you see he is the guy who NEVER wants the attention on himself (versus me who loves it lol) but this was a monumental birthday that I wasn’t going to ignore. I decided on an intimate dinner party with all of our closest family and friends. My vision was a masculine English Botanical vibe and Five Crowns had the perfect spot for my design to come to life. Being an event designer professionally means you spend your days planning for all your wonderful clients and not yourself so this was soooo much fun for me! I wanted black to be the base of the design as it’s my husband’s favorite along with a strong masculine herringbone pattern and then unique botanical greenery and lots of candles. The candelabras were my favorite touch complete with dripping wax! We dined on a decadent 3 course meal and enjoyed the sweetest themed treats from my dear friend Brooke of Simply Sweet Cakery. The entire night was memories my family will never forget and spoiling my guy brought me a joy that I will remember the rest of my life.
