Boho Family Maternity Photos

This boho maternity session is nothing short of a dream. Jen & Shane are usually the ones behind the camera lens at Acqua Photo, but surrendered to Taylor Cole‘s direction for these maternity photos. The results are breathtaking! Jen wore the prettiest boho outfit that highlighted her belly just right (find it here!) accented with a Bloom Babes flower crown. We’re sure they’ll always treasure this special session filled with sweet family moments!

Our little girl, Nakoa, was born at 30 weeks and we never had a chance to do maternity photos, so when we found out we were pregnant again, I was elated to get to do something super dreamy and romantic! Being pregnant this time has been so special and healing. Everyone told us each pregnancy is different, but it was really hard to believe until we actually experienced it. We wanted the images to really reflect that beauty and joy and our excitement for our baby boy! As a husband and wife photography team, it can be challenging to give up control and be in FRONT of the lens. It is sooo important to do, though, to be able to truly relate to our couples and families and help them look their best! We chose Taylor Cole because she has a similar eye for light, totally sweet personality, and an ability to make you feel at ease. We adore her aesthetic and her patience and sweetness with Nakoa was amazing!
