This pretty nursery on our baby blog today is a baby girl’s dream land. Stimulating black & white patterns combined with coral accents and a clean white slate create a both peaceful and fun setting. We love what mom, Tifani Lyn, and dad created for their little girl Genevieve and know you will too!
So much love went into creating this room for my sweet girl. The process of nesting & slowly getting everything put together made waiting for her arrival that much more special. Ever since visiting our friends home in Sweden last year I have been swooning over rooms that are all white everything. I knew I wanted her room to be all white. When I found these curtains at World Market I knew I had found my focal point for the room! I was a little nervous through out the process when I kept on buying everything in white. I’m so happy I stuck to it, I absolutely love it now. It makes me want to paint the whole house white!
Nicholas & I wanted to incorporate some of our favorite children’s movie & book quotes into her room. Alice in Wonderland is one of our favorite movies, so this print from Life & Style was perfect. After doing lots of research on what rocking chair we wanted I am so happy we went with Ikea’s Poang. Although it isn’t a typical rocking chair, it is super comfortable & works really well for us. Dr. Suess will most definitely be #1 on our reading list for Genevieve. So it was fitting to have this print above her changing table.
Her little pineapple dress – adorable!
