Fun in the sun typically equates to lots of water time, especially when kids are involved! From pools to the beach, and splash pads to backyard fun, we’ve rounded up our playtime must haves and sun protection essentials for kids to help them enjoy a quintessential part of summer!

1. For serious sun and water time, a proper swimsuit is a must! We tend to go for rash guards as they offer more protection from the sun, but you should always try to find a swimsuit that has UV protection. One of our favorite brands is Appman’s– SPF, rash guards and cute designs… check, check, check! We’ve also had some luck at our go to stores like Target, H&M and Old Navy! Just be sure to read the tags for SPF coverage, because some have SPF and some do not! 5. Having a place for your kid to rest is a must, especially ff you’re heading to the beach, lake or river! And if your little ones are anything like ours, they need their OWN towel or chair.
