At Home Maternity Session

(Very) new parents Lili and Jacob chose to capture their life before baby boy Charlie, right at home with this pretty maternity session. Peaceful, comfortable, and beautiful, it’s everything a maternity shoot should be – with a stylish flair thrown in for good measure :). Read all about their love story and brand new babe from Lili herself:
Jacob and I met while working as summer camp counselors in Idaho during college. A few of our closest friends today still harken back to those camping days and would confirm that Camp Sweyolakan on Lake Coeur D’Alene is one of the most beautiful, magical places in the world. We like to think we carried a bit of that magic with us into our life together. It certainly felt that way as we prepared to welcome our son into the world. These days, we may spend more time in front of a computer screen than a campfire (Jacob and I are both bloggers by trade) but, now that he’s here, Charlie is already learning about Camp. Someday, he’ll visit. For now, he gets a nightly camp song serenade from yours truly.

Our amazingly talented photographer and friend, Ernie Sapiro, helped us capture this exciting time! We shot at our home in Bothell, WA and a nearby nature preserve where we walk nearly every day. I found the striped dress at Anthropologie and the black maxi is by Olian Maternity and was a wardrobe staple throughout my pregnancy. Accessorized here with a colorful Anthropologie scarf and we were set!

We love that these images represent this precise, special moment in our life, our home, and our surroundings and hope you’ll appreciate the simple beauty of the Pacific Northwest as much as we do.
