A Pretty Princess Dress Up Birthday Party

Mama did good with this dress-up Princess birthday party for her little girl! Not only were there endless party hats, sparkly beads and gowns, and pink treats present (just wait until you see the dessert display!), but a live princess even made an appearance ;). Over the Moon Events pulled the pretty party off and showed the birthday girl, Poppy, the best time, as well as all the other little kiddos in attendance! We wish we were there too!

From Over the Moon Events…

This event was planned for an adorable, fun, four year old girl, Poppy, who loves to dress up. I wanted the party to explode with pastel colors and have every type of dress up item that Poppy loves, such as princess dresses, wands, swords, jewelry, butterfly wings, capes, etc. We had a custom dress up wardrobe built, inspired by her favorite tv show, Chloe’s closet, which is about a little girl and her friends “playing dress up” with this magic wardrobe. The birthday girl insisted on being Elsa so I thought it was fitting to have princess Ana come and have all the girls dress up as princesses while all the boys dressed up as superheroes and pirates. All costumes were made in coordinating colors. Upon entering the party, the children immediately went to the wardrobe to “play dress up in Poppy’s closet”.

Addy Salcido baked the beautiful cake, the design was a collaboration between her and Over the Moon Events. The dessert table was designed to go along with the dress up and color theme. The table had a spread of super hero cake pops, princess dress cookies, sparkly strawberries, and cookies and cream chocolate pyramids in matching colors. It also had a mix of vintage and new milk glass cake stands and bowls (some made by Over The Moon Events with vintage finds) which was inspired by Minted and Vintage. The jumbo confetti balloons, confetti party hats, and confetti wooden utensils were all designed and done by Over The Moon Events.
