From Mom,
“We went to the LoveShackFancy store on Melrose a year before Emma’s bat mitzvah just for fun to look for a bat mitzvah dress for her. We found her dress that day – we also fell in love with the store! Emma loves pink and gold, and we both love the bohemian look and feel and all the patterns and flowers so it snowballed from there. “
From the Planner,
“Since the team at The Planning Society also loves LoveShackFancy it made it especially fun to collaborate, create and plan Emma’s celebration. Just entering into a LSF store is such a fun and beautiful experience. The patterns, the fragrances, the creativity, this lifestyle brand has really been fun to watch evolve and we don’t know which collaboration we love more.”
“The Planning Society began researching the lifestyle brand, more so than just looking casually at the beautiful dresses – the prints, fabrics, the al fresco dinner parties they create. We really wanted Emma’s guests to feel as though they entered into the world of LoveShackFancy. The overall feel was to create a fancy, feminine, vintage, boho English garden tea party vibe with lots of pinks (the more pink the better), consisting mostly of lighter pinks with pops of fuchsia and gold accents. To create this look, The Little Branch used roses, lisianthus, ranunculus, spray roses and peonies and candelabras. Bows were tastefully abundant throughout the space. “
“Every detail was intentional – one of our favorite highlights was the LSF vinyl bar setup with matching mocktail and cocktail signs! Emma had an interactive photo booth where guests were able to sit on a flower filled swing set within one of LSF’s beautiful prints as if they were swinging in the garden of a LSF party. A vintage and floral mirror was set next to the booth for extra decor and selfies. There was a vinyl all-pink candy cart and giant custom bows hanging from the chandeliers around the room. Emma’s flash tattoo parlor was filled with floral options and a vintage, boho dessert table completed the evening. Emma’s merch store with custom totes, hats and hoodies were a huge hit with all of the guests. Guests didn’t leave the dance floor as top LA Entertainment company, D’ City Sound, was spinning tunes all night. Fun fact, the family has known Dwayne, D’ City’s owner for decades as the family and Dwayne are all from suburban Detroit and have known each other for decades so naturally, D’ City was the perfect fit for this party.”
