Modeled after Disney’s The Nutcracker movie, this holiday party is full of sugar plum fairies, falling snowflakes, and sweets, all together in one giant winder wonderland! If you’re looking for the ultimate of Christmas party themes, look no further than The Nutcracker story. This one, in particular, features four magical realms, which Forrest & J and Archive Rentals teamed up to bring to life. And boy, did they do them justice! You will feel as though you are walking through the movie set as you wonder at all the beauty below…
Jenny at Forrest & J shares…
I have been a designer with Archive Rentals over the past couple years and always look to create content in their chic warehouse. After I saw the movie, I connected with Monique and Rochelle, the power house girl team behind the brand, and pitched the 4 Realm concept. We all got the Disney feels and started curating our team, some of my favorite tried and true friendor’s along with new friends I had been dying to work with over years!
Our concept was to capture the feeling as though you were behind the scenes of the ballet, as if hiding in the wings, watching the scenes unfold. The lighting feels a bit moody, which gives more mystery and depth to the shoot, playing off stage light. We really focused on 2 major realms for the kids feature, Sugarplum and Snowflake Land. All the little’s belong to the girls on team – Lauren, Archive’s Lead Stylist, has the 3 little blondies with the cutest names (Isla, Brixton, and Rivi) along with Creative Amme’s girly, Emma. Of course, my Baby Bash had to make an appearance. With his teething tucked lip and all (what’s a mom to do?!).
Have you seen the new Nutcracker movie? How many movie details did you find?!
