Laila Ali has taken her passion for a healthy lifestyle and turned it into a mouth-watering, good-for-you cookbook, Food For Life! She recently celebrated its release with a garden launch party with friends and family (and lots of gorgeous decor) at The Ponte Ristorante in West Hollywood. The fun-filled day was full of produce infused florals, organic herbs for guests to take home, and delicious bites, of course!
Guests – including a few familiar celebs – enjoyed cocktails with customized stir sticks, yummy recipes from Laila’s cookbook. Recipes included a smoky shrimp cobb salad with citrus dressing, cheesy quinoa & rice bake, and a sweet sock-it-to-me honey cake. They also lounged to the tunes of Red Shoe DJs on the outdoor patio, which was filled with white & violet seating areas from Signature Party Rentals. The lounge seating and cocktail tables were accompanied by a mix of anemones, eucalyptus, kale, carnations, cabbage, all in copper colanders from Bloominous.
Everyone enjoyed taking photos with Laila in front of the ‘Food For Life’ organic herb wall installation and the oversized cookbook cover backdrop by Jesi Haack Design. Guests were able to leave the day with a signed cookbook and their very own organic herb to water and grow.
