Attn: Black Friday sale info ahead :). With the holidays coming up and all you recent bride & grooms sending out “thank you”s or your first holiday cards together, we created a DIY perfect for you! We used or Silhouette America Mint machine to craft custom stamps for this exact occasion. It’s a simple way to make your cards personal and pretty (the recipients will think you had them specially made).
The Mint Studio was extremely easy to use, so we whipped up our designs in no time – creating a calligraphy return address with a festive Christmas tree. We loved picking out the images, fonts, and patterns that made up the stamp, and watching it print in mere seconds. There are many image options too choose from in the Mint Studio library to spruce up the stamp, but you can also import your own image if you want an even more custom look.
Everything you need comes with the Mint machine – the software, ink, and stamp pads – and it’s on sale with a special code for you all! Enter BLACK at checkout and receive special discounts! Additionally, Silhouette is offering so many sales including free Shipping on order over $50.00, 40% off almost everything in the Silhouette America store, 20% off Silhouette Design Store Subscriptions, and machine bundles as low as $99.99! Take advantage of the sale (ending on December 4!) and then make your holiday cards with this DIY!
Instructions:
1. Create your design on Mint Studio – this is really straight forward and explained well (no matter your level of DIY savvy) in the pamphlet that comes with the Mint.
2. Follow the manual and start up your Mint machine, then insert the cardboard stamp pad into the machine and watch your stamp print exactly how you envisioned.
3. Slip the imprinted stamp off of the cardboard and onto the wooden stamp block. With the color ink you desire, add ink to the lines of the stamp you want to show up. Let dry.
4. Stamp onto the paper surface and voilá!
How cute is this!! I love the concept 🙂
Great idea! And how cool that it makes your design for you! I need one of these!
