We love getting the chance to peak into the creative spaces of design savvy spaces.. and A Savvy Event’s office is just that! (no pun intended :)). Naturally, as an amazing event planner, (and Be Inspired PR Tastemaker!) owner, Kelly, has an eye for beautiful things and it shows in her Sonoma office. With pretty place settings, cakes, and arrangements, plus some inviting seating areas, the office provides the perfect place for meeting with clients and sparking inspiration. We’re kind of obsessed with the way she created accent walls with floral wallpaper in one area and crepe paper rosettes in another. We can see how they come up with such innovative and savvy events!
Kelly gushes over why this space is so perfect for A Savvy Event:
We moved to our new office in Spring of 2013, right during the beginning of wedding season. We knew that we needed to do an office makeover immediately, so that our office could reflect our style. Initially the space was pretty drab, and lacked personality. We knew we wanted it to reflect our feminine taste and be a space that clients felt comfortable. We’ve heard “I want my wedding to look like this office” many times from clients, and think that’s the most amazing compliment, but most importantly, the office needed to have the space to house our ever-growing business. Our office serves as storage, meeting space, office space for all of our planners, a functional space for our office manager and assistants, and even a staging area for mock ups. We knew that we had to get the most out of the space, and luckily our office is divided up into 3 rooms, so that makes it easy to break up the spaces.
We set up a “living room” area in the office that is perfect for our weekly planner meetings, and also for client meetings. It’s so nice to just invite brides in and sit down with them in an informal environment. We found furniture and décor at West Elm, Anthropologie (that wallpaper is our most favorite find ever), Overstock.com, and Z Gallerie. One of the office spaces has a great installation of crepe paper flowers that we used at a past wedding. We thought the bright white really pops and adds a touch of fun against the grey wall. The other office space has a hand drawn logo on a chalkboard wall, done by Courtney Cargile Custom Chalk. We really love working our logo in wherever we can, and knew that this was a fun way to make the wall interesting. We also have a beautiful hutch in that office where we store all of our craft goods. It’s a fun way to keep all of that organized, but still be able to show it off.
Dying over this space!
