Interior design is always evolving so it’s easy to grow tired of your home decor, wall art, or furniture. We know how you feel. Even if it’s only because the air is getting colder and we are starting to think about the holidays, we’re in the mood for a change! Here are 5 simple – yet drastic in appearance – ways to update your space – whether that be at home or work.
1. Change Up Your Carpet
This has single handedly been the biggest eye-catching change we have made to our office! Probably in part because we chose pink & green carpet, but nonetheless it makes a huge difference! We used easy to install Flor tiles to replace the dingy, dirty carpet that used to throw a big wrench in our bright, beautiful working environment. Not only does it look incredible, but it also brightens our day every time we walk in the room :).
2. Create an Accent Wall
Whether will wallpaper or your own DIY art, making one wall in the room a different color or pattern makes a big difference. We love the character it brings to these nurseries! (Walls by Mur is a on of our favorite resources for easy to adhere wall decals!) Our personal DIY flower wall brightens up the space and brings incorporates 3-dimensional decor.

3. Replace the Pillows
This is by far the easiest ways to update your home or office! Whether seasonally or just because, changing the pillows from pink to grey or from neutral to fall-plaid, makes a statement, in a very, very good way.

4. Add Plants
From small to large – we’re talking everything from succulents to fig trees – plants add color (yes, even if they’re leafy green), texture, and often height to a room! There are so many out there that are easy maintenance and make for pretty natural decor.

5. Incorporate Art
Gallery walls are all the rage – for good reason. We’ve fallen in love, and stayed in love, with this home decor trend. It really makes a huge difference in a space. Try creating a gallery wall in an unlikely space (like your kitchen!), and vary the frame styles and shapes for a good looking arrangement :).
