We sat down with her to get the scoop on what goes on here (and how we can copy the look!).

Tell us a little about Posh Parties and what a day in the office looks like!
Let’s see – the best part about my days is that every day is different! A typical day is returning lots of emails, making calls and following up with vendors, checking in daily with brides and mothers of brides, heading out to a power lunch and a few vendor appointments (whether its a site visit, tasting, decor meeting or vendor meeting. At the end of the day I like to revise my to do list and get ready for the next days meetings and work.
What was your inspiration for decorating this space!
I wanted an office that looked simple and clean and that everything in it had a place. I was sick of living in an office that was cluttered and messy, so when we recently redecorated it I wanted to create a space that was calming and serene. I also wanted it to feel cozy and a space I wouldn’t mind sitting in for hours at a time!
How would you describe your design style?
My style is more contemporary and modern. I love white and have a hard time committing to a color. Thats why I thought the accents of blue and silver would give a little punch without being too over the top. I also chose white as my base so if I ever change my mind about color, I just have to change out a few pieces and voila – you have a whole new look!
What is your favorite part of your office and why?
My favorite part of my office is my photo gallery wall. This was created to showcase some of my work and serves as a daily basis for inspiration and motivation. I really need to add more photos, but when I look at the wall it reminds me that I created this fun, awesome business from scratch. There’s something to be said about that and it amazes me everyday that I made this happen.
You plan everything from weddings to events to birthday bashes. Do you have a favorite?
While I love planning all types of happy occasions, weddings are my absolute favorite. I tell my couples we are planning the kick off party to the rest of your lives together – how fun is that?!
What gets you going on a Monday Morning?
Coffee and an organized to do list!!! I actually love Mondays – I usually am ready to take on whatever the week brings and each day is always something different. I try not to schedule many meetings for Mondays so I can take the day to get organized and get a head start on the week.
What is the Best Business advice you’ve ever received?
Go the extra mile – it’s never crowded!
